Creating these lessons has been life-changing…

“What makes this curriculum special, and different from anything else I have been a part of, is the voice of our tribal advisors. These highly qualified experts provided honest insight and much-needed perspectives on the topics they know best. Creating these lessons has been a life-changing opportunity for me because I have had the honor to work with people from a variety of Native Nations who have corrected any misconceptions, added depth, and context to the history, and inspired these lessons with true stories and messages. The common theme from all of our advisors has been this is our truth and yes it has been difficult, but we have persevered and are still here. Their focus is on bringing their cultural traditions into the future. I have learned so much. I am grateful for the people I have met and the authentic resources they have provided for this project.”
